The set is not worth the money in my opinion. I have a $40 ceramic set and those chips are heavier than these. I bought them expecting extreme quality to back up the $300 price tag. I was very disappointed to find out that it is a very cheap metal. The best way I can describe it without knowing the actual metal it’s made of is plastic metal they feel like the plastic ones you get from Walmart with a tiny metal coating to make them jingle together. I get the whole two case thing trying to be premium but it honestly is more of an inconvenience because every time you want to bring them somewhere you have to pack them up and then put that box into another box just to have a handle that you can use to carry them around. I do think they are nice to a point but they are not nice enough to justify putting that price tag on them. I think that just because they are metal and pirate themed people accept the less than premium quality.
Shock and Awe when I got the box and felt how heavy it was. Then as I opened the box and noticed the attention to detail everywhere I knew this would be good. I have been playing for over 40 yrs so I wanted something special. Boy was this it. I dont want to ruin it when you open and see everything but you will not be unimpressed. Anything lower than 4 stars has no idea what quality is. I have had over 20 full chip sets in my life and this I will be able to pass down. Insane the quality and everything that is included. We'll done sirs.

I jumped into this expecting an expensive lesson to be learned about online purchases, especially from FaceBook ad. Turns out that every cent I paid was money well worth spent.

The pieces are so nice. First game we had we bought in for $50 and the way we typically break up chips we were low but all in all this is my favorite set to play with! The high stakes chips are so heavy and commanding!
Expensive, but that's what you get when you want quality metal chips. They have a great feel to them and the sound while playing is phenomenal. The dealer chip is especially gorgeous and the cards are decent quality.
My one complaint is I couldn't order the bundle and a separate order of "loose" coins as they did not ship the "loose" ones to my area.
Just received the 300 piece poker set and it is awesome , comes in a sturdy hard case strong enough to hold kilos of weight, basically the same quality as a good gun case. The chips come in their own wooden case which looks and feels great . The chips are bright and detailed and sound great hitting against each other.
