I parted with gold to buy the pirate gold poker set and I can tell you we are more than happy.
This was purchased as a special gift for my partners 50th. The delivery was quick, the quality is amazing and the customer service was exceptional.

I love the 60 Piece Booster Pack. We usually have a lot of poker players, and paired with the Bundle of Loot it’s perfect — we can seat everyone at one big table or split into two and still have plenty of chips. We even use them as currency for game nights, and they work great.
I own 18 poker sets. Most of them are custom and some are full clay from casinos. These are the most fun chips I’ve ever played with. Period.

I saw the “Extra Loot” promo and finally decided to pull the trigger on this poker set. I already own a couple of clay chip sets, which work fine—but let’s face it, aside from whatever branding they have, they’re all basically the same. These chips, on the other hand, are different, and that’s what caught my attention.
One of the many ads I saw inspired me to host a pirate-themed poker night. I went all in on the idea—created an invite video (YouTube link
https://youtu.be/0zv8u3sZlYc ), produced an intro and rules explainer, and even put together a YouTube playlist of pirate-themed music videos and custom round-break clips. The party was a huge success!
As for the chips—everyone thought they were awesome and really made the experience feel unique. The one consistent piece of feedback (and something I noticed myself) was that the chips are a bit slippery. The metal faces slide against each other easily, so when you try to grab or stack a larger pile, they tend to come apart—sometimes dramatically—resulting in a few “chip explosions” and plenty of clanking metal on the floor. I think this could be improved by adding a slightly ridged edge or a subtle texture so the chips interlock better.
The only other note is that the included cards have more friction than a standard deck of Bicycle cards and wouldn’t work in my automatic shuffler/dealer, so I swapped in a different deck.
All in all, the set looks amazing, feels premium, and made for an unforgettable night. I’d absolutely buy it again—but there’s still a little room for improvement.
