Product Description

“Send him to Davy Jones’s Locker” — the old sailor's curse for the dark, final abyss of the ocean floor. Now it lives in your pocket.

This is not a novelty coin. It's a high-relief sculpture, cast in brass, darkened in the depths, built to outlast you.

The skull rises off the face, set against dark enamel recesses and the writhing arms of the Kraken beneath. It catches light the way legendary things do – differently every time.

Flip it to reveal "DJL" in Old English lettering, circled by the Latin: FORTES FORTUNA ADIUVAT. Fortune Favors the Bold.

Claim the relic to complete your Pirate Gold set, or carry the legend in your pocket. Talisman, worry coin, card guard, dealer button. It earns its place wherever it comes to rest.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      What does "DJL" stand for?

Davy Jones' Locker — the pirate idiom for the dark, final abyss of the ocean floor. The ultimate fate feared by every sailor on the high seas. Now it lives in your pocket.

What is the coin made of?

Metal alloy with a brass-toned finish and dark enamel fill in the recessed areas. Cast in extreme high-relief — giving it depth, weight, and tactile detail you won't find on a standard stamped coin.

      How heavy is the coin?

80g. At 45mm wide and 10mm thick, it's a substantial piece — built to feel like genuine treasure in your hand.

Can I use it as a dealer button or card guard?

Yes. The heavyweight build and commanding design make it a natural at the table. Place the sinking skull face-up on your hole cards. It sends a message.

Does it fit in the Pirate Gold wooden box?

Yes — designed to fit the existing Pirate Gold wooden case. The perfect addition to your full set.

      What is the return policy?

14-day return policy. Items must be unused and in original packaging with proof of purchase. Email info@pirategoldpoker.com to start a return — we'll send a label and instructions once approved.

      Do you offer international shipping?

Yes. We ship to the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. US, Australian, and Canadian orders ship from local Amazon warehouses for faster delivery.

      How long will delivery take?

US orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days. International times vary. Delivery can occur on weekends and holidays.

      Is this just for poker?

Not even close. Use it as a dealer button or card guard, carry it as an EDC talisman, or display it as a piece of maritime lore. It's equally at home on the felt, in your pocket, or on a shelf.

An exceptional Addition to the Lineup

With this dealer button well-representing the depths of Davy Jones' Locker, and the fate of any pirate foolish enough to lose his treasure at the table, this latest addition to the Pirate's Gold line is a truly commanding presence at my games! Thank you for your attention to detail, and your amazing customer service!

      Solid coin

It's a good-sized coin with a satisfying weight to it. The skull's details are well-executed, and the way it appears to be situated in the ocean depths makes it an excellent addition to my coin collection.
